USCIS I-693 Medical Exams include evaluation by a Civil Surgeon along with STD testing for gonorrhea and syphilis and tuberculosis testing. QuantiFERON Gold tuberculosis (TB) testing is now required for all applicants age 2 and older if not obtained in the past year.
CareFirst Medical offers Civil Surgeon services for completing USCIS applications such as the I-693 application. Medical exams are performed by an authorized and certified Civil Surgeon with experience in making sure applications are done accurately to ensure compliance with the examination process.

Applicants subject to the immigration medical examination must complete the COVID-19 vaccine series
and provide documentation of vaccination to the civil surgeon person before the civil surgeon can complete and immigration
medical examination and sign Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record.
