CareFirst Medical offers FAA medical certification for all classes for pilots and airmen. There is a certified Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) onsite to perform 1st, 2nd and 3rd class medical exams. EKG testing is also available onsite for an additional cost for pilots obtaining their 1st Class certification. Applicants should complete their MedXPress Application prior to their appointment to obtain the required confirmation number which should be brought to the appointment along with valid photo identification. The AME will review medical history of each applicant to ensure he or she is compliant with the FAA guidelines and protocols for medical conditions noted.
